Raleigh Dog Photography Feature: Keno At Horseshoe Bend Nature Preserve

Keno’s Mom, Brittany, contacted me in August of last year wanting to do a very special Fall session for her and her little family, which includes rescue pup, Keno, and husband, Matt.

I knew Brittany and I were going to get along when she contacted me in August to book a November Fall foliage session! Talk about a woman who is on the ball with things.

She wanted a pet portrait session after not having professional photos done since her and Matt’s wedding more than five years ago. As Keno was getting older, she wanted some beautiful imagery of him that she could have as a keepsake when he is no longer with us.

While Keno is still incredibly healthy and lots of heart in a petite package of thirteen pounds, it was definitely the perfect time for a photosession! I always tell clients to not wait until their dog is too old to have fun or terminally ill - otherwise, they won’t enjoy themselves as much or be very limited in what they can do!

Needless to say, Keno rocked his session and we very much enjoyed the unseasonably warm albeit breezy Fall afternoon at Horseshoe Bend Park in Wake Forest.

But, don’t take my word for it, see the visual proof for yourself of how handsome Mr. Keno is!
