[FUNDRAISER CLOSED] August has finally arrived and you guys know what that means - our annual birthday fundraiser has arrived!
Not only is it my 37th Birthday, but it’s Five Freedom Photography’s (official) 3rd birthday. Woo hoo!
Every year on our birthday / business anniversary, we host a huge fundraiser for one of our favorite local non-profits, the Friends Of Wake County Animal Center.
If the name sounds familiar, you may have seen me post about them before. They are also the non-profit we host Santa photos for at the end of the year.
They are an unsung hero of our local county center. You see, Friends Of WCAC helps support our shelter in ways that most people don't know anything about.
They:
Provide rescue / medical sponsorships to animals being placed in rescue to encourage rescues to pull more animals (thus, saving more lives)
They provide much needed dental sponsorships to animals who may not be available simply because they need dental work
They provide low cost spay / neuter for cats and bully breed dogs to Wake County residents (simply apply for a voucher here)
They help keep pets and their people together by providing essentials through their No Bowl Empty project to help ease the financial burden
They sponsor Heartworm positive dogs to ease the financial burden of Heartworm treatment on new adopters
They participate in community outreach by partnering with other local businesses and non-profits to proactively help pet owners and their pets in need out in the community
And they are just generally awesome in the work they do.
The money they raise through their online donations, events, auctions, and other various fundraisers, go to help the these high-risk dogs, who need more support due to county overcrowding and overpopulation.
Every. single. penny.
So, as usual, to support my Friends Of WCAC and to celebrate our business anniversary / birthday, I'm giving away an amazing photo package (if I do say so myself) valued at well over $2000 to help them raise money to help more high-risk shelter pups in need.
Yes, you read that right - $2,000!
By giving away this incredible package, we hope to beat last year’s number of $1060 to hit this year’s goal of $1500. As always, I know you guys will show up and make it happen!
