Raleigh Dog Blog Feature: Potter

We had a greyhound mix rescue pup growing up, so I have a natural inclination towards adoring these lanky, graceful creatures. I also remember going to the greyhound track as a child where I was absolutely abhorred at the sport. Thank goodness a lot has changed in the past twenty years.

That leads me to Mia, a retired racing greyhound. Her Mom found me on Google for a Dix Park sunflower session. Unfortunately, by the time their date came around, the sunflowers were absolutely pitiful (North Carolina heat is no joke!)

I made the decision to offer up a wildflower mini-session to them also for Mia and between the two minis, we captures some gorgeousness of their best girl. It has been such a pleasure getting to know Mia and her parents, Brooks and Melinda.

They ended up ordering some gorgeous fine art prints alongside some added digitals, but these few images below are my favorites from the session. I hope they make you smile, too.
