Forget Me Not Session: Arnold & Olivia

Olivia reached out to me for a special session for her senior guy, Arnold, while, as she put it, “to remember him as he is now.” 🥹

Arnold has a long and storied past including being sold by his breeder to a loving home then winding up on Craig’s List as a “stud” and having been bounced around from at least five or six different homes over the course of nine years. Naturally, he has some anxieties because of everything he’s been through.

Olivia and Arnold came together when she was working as a boarding facility for Arnold’s breeder, who had brought him back home after finding out he was being sold on Craig’s List. As Olivia put it, he had a slew of health issues and just generally wasn’t doing well. But, after a lot of money and time, his breeder nursed him back to health.

She said upon meeting him that she knew Arnold was going to be hers! She said that from the moment they met they have been each others rock and she couldn’t imagine life without him.

They’ve been best friends ever since. Now, Arnold is fourteen and still going strong even if he does have a bit of doggie dementia.

The sweetest thing was Olivia requested to have their session in the neighbor’s backyard with this gorgeous old tree where Arnold loves to romp and play and that has been his safe space these past five years. 😭

Enjoy these gorgeous, sun-soaked images of Olivia and her best boy, Arnold. ☀️

PS. Also peep the matching bee collar and Olivia’s bee nails. How freakin’ cute are they?

Your senior pup(s) deserve to be celebrated with a very special Forget Me Not Session. Click here to learn more about these sessions.
