On Sale Now: The 2024 Triangle Dog Of The Year Calendar Benefitting Perfectly Imperfect Pups
HOLY COW! THE calendar is finally here!
In case you missed it, back in February of this year, I hosted my very first calendar contest benefitting our friends over at Perfectly Imperfect Pups, also known as PIPs Rescue, called the 2024 Triangle Dog Of The Year Calendar Contest.
My fundraising goal was initially $5K; we surpassed that almost three times over ending up raising almost $15K for PIPs in just four weeks. Like WHAT?!
Let me just tell you - not only did the amount raised exceed my expectations, but the competition was fierce.
Every pup you see listed in the calendar below (minus a couple) have a rescue story. Not only that, but they are some of the most amazing rescue ambassadors out in the community… If you click on their image, it will take you to their Instagram account (if they have one), so you can continue to follow their cute stories and faces.
The funds we raised for PIPs in a slow donation time of the year has helped several major medical cases they’ve taken into the rescue this year, including Bruce, a pup that was hit by a car and had to have his leg amputated.
So, this calendar is more than just a bunch of pretty photos! It has purpose and has helped impact many pups in need right here in Wake County and will continue to do so over the coming months as well I’m sure.
But, with the launch of the calendar, we can keep the feel good, do good vibes going. When you buy a calendar all of the proceeds will go right back to PIPs rescue to help us raise even more money.

Walter was one of the original twelve winners of the 2024 Triangle Dog Of The Year Calendar Contest, but right before we had our session together, Walter passed away. You’ll find a note of remembrance for Walter inside of the calendar in the month of September, which is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Month. It only felt fitting to place Walter there to honor his memory.
Here is what his Mom had to say about this big, beautiful teddy bear of a pup:
Walter was a handsome, classy, calm and collected guy wise with age came into our lives June 6, 2021. He quickly worked his way into our hearts and lives with his calm, low energy, and loving personality. Whether by our side or meeting people, he worked his quiet magic and had everyone loving on him in moments. It wasn’t a surprise that he won a spot on the 2024 Triangle Dog of the Year Calendar. But before he was ready for his close up shot, Walter passed away suddenly but peacefully leaving behind his love and a hole in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rest easy, sweet Walter. May you know only peace now.
